Re: saturdaynightsalrite
I think she is "mostly vegan" just because of the diet and it makes her skinnier. Nothing to do with animal rights or anything like that. If it were really an issue of that, she would have a problem with other animal goods and animal testing, both of which she clearly doesn't care about.

saw this comment on one of her ig pics

@satnightalrite You always handle drama with such grace. You're mature beyond your years, thanks for being a great example of how to deal with people who just wanna start a fight.
Re: saturdaynightsalrite
It's not fair to say that being vegan and being an animal rights activist have to go hand in hand. I have never liked milk I think it's weird and barely consume any dairy products. I also find most meat hard to eat and the concept is starting to gross me out. I actually feel better physically when I eat less animal products. I feel like I may end up vegan down the line and it will have nothing to do with animal rights.everlastingslopes wrote:It bothers me how she says she eats mostly vegan. Veganism isn't just about the diet, it's about using animal friendly products; which she does not seem to understand. Hinting at her leather handbags, shoes, and giant makeup collection which over half tests on animals

Re: saturdaynightsalrite
Veganism by defintion is the practice of abstaining from the use of animal products. So yes it is fair. To be vegan you don't consume animal products or buy/wear animal products. And it's not being about an animal rights activist, it's not contributing to the suffering of animals, not just in diet.brahbrah wrote:It's not fair to say that being vegan and being an animal rights activist have to go hand in hand. Re: saturdaynightsalrite
She posted a 'Melbourne Cup' GRWM video which I find to be very un-Vegan like...IMO
Melbourne Cup is cruelty to horses many believe. They're whipped, isolated in stables which causes mental sufferring, and pushed to win basically. This past Melbourne Cup, a horse broke it's leg and had to be euthanised after the race.
Not going to go on anymore about this but I find it a large contradiction she goes to this spectacle event for all the glitz and glamour while inadvertently supporting animal cruelty by just being there!

Re: saturdaynightsalrite
She really is full of shit and completely clueless. I don't think she is vegan because she is strongly against animal cruelty. I think she just thinks its healthier and will lose weight and stay skinny from it. To me, it's like she doesn't have a caring bone in her body.
I also hate that whenever anyone asks her what her diet is she just links them to Rapid Fitness. I bet she doesn't even follow that diet. Also, I know this isn't Shannon's thread (I don't actually follow her thread) but she hasn't made a RF video in a while. She's probably given it up too.

I don't think she's a very genuine person at all, she bangs on and on about how she never judges and 'if it makes you happy then you go do it' blah blah but I think she's full of shit.
Used to like her but she contradicts herself far too much, I don't want tips from her because I think she looks tacky so I've unsubbed.

Ugh, yeah, along with being gluten free.disestablishment wrote:Yep! Being vegan/plant-based is the new 'in' diet, especially no oil, low fat vegans. Being gluten free for someone who isn't allergic to gluten has no benefit. Being gluten free is also a trendxxkath wrote:Ugh, yeah, along with being gluten free.disestablishment wrote:Yep! Oh? The pot-smoking, half-naked attention-seeking arrogant biatch that you turned out to be?
You should be proud!
Re: saturdaynightsalrite
She still doesn't know how to handle 'hate' and criticism gracefully. Also, it would be nice, if she hit the weights.

Re: saturdaynightsalrite
Wow, last night on Twitter she criticised Australian vernacular, basically trying to 'educate' us on the way we speak.
That's right Karissa, you are so much smarter than the rest of us, you and your useless diploma.
I'd already unsubscribed to her youtube but forgot about Twitter, glad I saw that 'gem'.
Also, Lauren had a Benefit do yesterday where she received all these goodies for reaching 1 million subscribers on YouTube; Chloe was there but Karissa wasn't (or she would have social media'ed the shit out of it trying to attach herself to more successful people).
Awkward - reckon they've ditched her?

Re: saturdaynightsalrite
I thought that was weird too, but she actually was there. http://instagram.com/p/gsBKRvi46e/ It did seem odd that she didn't post anything, I couldn't help but think it was because the event wasn't all about her. She could have at least made a post to congratulate Lauren and/or thank Benefit for letting her tacky ass tag along.ineedstuff wrote: Also, Lauren had a Benefit do yesterday where she received all these goodies for reaching 1 million subscribers on YouTube; Chloe was there but Karissa wasn't (or she would have social media'ed the shit out of it trying to attach herself to more successful people).

Re: saturdaynightsalrite
Yes, I also think so. When you look on Lauren's instagram you can are that she had an awesome day and got amazing gifts from Benefit (a Benefit-themed cake, camera equipment etc). I bet Karisss was super jealous and selfish and therefore didn't post anything about it.

Re: saturdaynightsalrite
Good spotting! Clearly I didn't look hard enough, hehe, I just think its weird that Chloe and Lauren didn't post a pic of Karissa on their social media. Karissa did make a point to say her phone was dying, likely story!
