Not going to lie. The concept of the palette intrigued me. I love me some blacks, reds, purples. I'm kinda goth light. LOL But the shades weren't dark enough! I was surprised how bright they were for the name of the palette.

The colours make no sense. That red needs to leave.

My point is that the protective plastic is not waste if it serves a purpose, everything else he does with his packaging is wasteful.

I loved when he was swatching the lip glosses and his hand is a mess and he goes "sorry there is eye shadow everywhere" aka sorry my eye shadows stain so badly LOL

After watching the video I think the pallet was originally named Royal Blood as we speculated but after reading up on GG he changed the name and called it generic. Yet everything in the collection has a royal feel to not not a lust.. lol

yeah it was definitely renamed.

And as for the inspiration for that collection. I dont know if he likes cartoons or anything lol but its definitely a Lizzie Hearts from Ever After High vibe.. like almost indentical. Hes even wearing her fucking hair >:( way to ruin a good show.

The blood lust palette is so ugly and boring and that bright red shade is so random. I guess he needs a red to justify calling it blood lust. A purple blood palette doesn't make sense unless I'm missing something. Wasn't there a registered trade mark for blood money? Is he going to do a red and green palette for christmas or something? So tacky.

^ Hes seriously running out of ideas. I could name many titles which would of suited that palette better. It is more of a cosmic void style colour range rather than "Blood Lust" because it doesnt look as a regal status at all.. I usually think of gold undertones when I think of regal or royalty... Some colour just dont belong there, and tbh the way theyre placed doesnt help either (for reference, I am a tattoo artist, and I know my colour wheel pretty well) So i know when colours become confusing to the eye. And it doesnt help with the palette itself being purple aswell,

I actually like the velvet covering of the palette however, it reminds me of those old barbie pillow playsets lol

But yeah, colours, nope, not a fan of lippies so whatever.
Packaging is just one big meme, the only think i like is the velvet.
