Right? When I first moved out of my parents I didn’t have a washing machine for about two-three weeks, and survived by sending washing to my parents and hand washing my bras and undies in the sink.

I saw Oliver in High Fidelity last night and I thought he was absolutely incredible. Generally sceptical of his talent prior to this but my god could he command the presence of a very intimate space and didn't shy away from actually connecting to with the audience. My friend is working on the show (backstage) and we caught up after. Apparently he's lovely (as is the rest of the cast) Also met Paul Taylor Mills who was less of a dick than I was expecting we actually had a nice chat but I think even he's done with Carrie. I hope Ollie continues to work hard and be nice to everyone involved in shows and doesn't get a complex like Kermit. Having now seen him in something I might nom him for WOS but Carrie is being so shitty about the whole thing I'm almost tempted not to...

Yeah, I totally understand that people can have different opinions and are 100% entitled to change their mind at any point about anything.
My mum is not a very theatre-y musical-ish person at all, and when I started chatting about this hippity-hoppity rap musical called Hamilton, she could not have had less interest... until I had the soundtrack on while I was making a cake one afternoon and Wait For It came on-
'WHAT IS THIS SONG?! IT'S BEAUTIFUL!'
Total convert! We went to see it together in London March just gone. Best money I've ever spent.
So it's completely feasible that Carrie could have heard snippets of Six and thought 'that's not for me' and then given it a fair-er listen once she knew a colleague was in the show.

Sorry for the off-topic but I swear 'Wait For It' is the ultimate converter song for getting Mums into Hamilton, the same happened with mine!
