I found his new house and I’m surprised he chose to live there? It’s all families and boring/ or a lot of white bro people who are kind of racist. It’s like chatsworth. Isn’t he from San Diego? I guarantee he won’t like the area, it is nothing compared to San Diego. I know a lot of people who work in la are moving there so the traffic is horrible. I can’t imagine moving from San Diego to where he did though, San Diego is amazing

Same! I saw a post on IG about it and had to see for myself. I'm really surprised with all his drama Sephora would take his brand. Or that his brand was still making these palettes.

I'm actually not surprised. A lot of other gurus and brands have spoken up about how it's (allegedly) not hard at all to get into Sephora. Their end goal is to make money, and we can all see how some of these brands and collabs are making a stupid amount of sales. Sephora is no longer a place for high end quality makeup, now it's goal i to capitalize on the beauty boom and get a piece of that cash. It's well known they offer tons of gurus a spot in their store, but yet they keep turning it down.

Well, Sephora is well known for having brutal demands. OCC went out of business because being in Sephora and trying to keep up bankrupted them. This is likely why so many gurus and up and coming brands turn them down. Sephora is a risky move. Why risk that when you're making bank on your own? Lunar may be fine for now, but given Manny's record and how he isn't that big in the community anymore there is a real chance that this could kamikaze his brand. If you notice, a lot of the brands in Sephora are owned by a large mother company and can afford to keep up with the demands. Manny's brand is still very new and can't compete with large manufacturers like Loreal.

The only true benefit he is getting right now is having the bragging rights of being in Sephora, but that's quickly losing prestige.

On a little positive side note re: Manny even though I know this is a trash thread and yeah, he still trash.

I was able to try one of his highlighters and guys, I'm not mad at it! It was in the shade Venus, and it was soft and finely milled, no chunky glitters and y'all it was PRETTY. Nicer than Jeffree's Skin Frosts even. I have the JSC / Manny highlight collab in "Eclipse" and it's not a favorite. It doesn't show up very well on my skin at all and it's nowhere near as soft and creamy as this Venus highlighter is. Damn you Manny Mooah!

Anyway, so there's that.

Yeah I know this is a gossip site but I mean it in the sense that these "beauty gurus" have GOT to stop being such hot problematic messes because it's fucking ridiculous at this point how messy they are all. They have young people looking up to them and these "gurus" need to remember that it's not professional to be so messy and unprofessional all the time

If he starts being messy again I will be here to talk with yall HAHA but other than that, I wish Manny well
