OMG I know! It's literally so fucking embarrassing of her and I'm sure it makes him feel shitty. Also, you'd think if keeping the job was so fucking important to her she'd at least idk TRY to do a good job and prepare for the interviews rather than being like "idk who u r lol" every time. Like no one is impressed. No one thinks you're cool for not knowing this somewhat famous person, you just look like an unprofessional dickhead. She thinks she can make up for it by loudly and annoyingly talking about sex (which she doesn't even have) or try to seem cool by dropping 35 year old references that no one cares about.Lydia Deetz wrote:It really bothers me too that she guilts Shane all the time, she always makes comments about how the show pays her bills and crap like that. In what other situation could you guilt your boss into not laying you off or firing you? So unprofessional. Shane should be able to get a new cohost if he wants to, he should be happy with his show, it sucks that it would most likely get a bit messy if he fired her.
They talked about this on the podcast. The only reason he has started to see her once in a blue moon (they do not hang out frequently) was because she was making such a big deal out of it and twisting his arm into it. Sorry, but that is also super desperate and unprofessional of her. It's clear she wants to be his friend so he doesn't get rid of her but it's also vehemently obvious she is not a close friend that he likes and he would mesh better with a different cohost and people would actually enjoy the podcast more.arf88 wrote:Jess and Shane do hang out with each other outside the podcast - she went to Trish's birthday party with him and she was with him recently on snap chat with his new merch. They may not have started as friends, but that's not true now.
