Tbh I don't think he'd be able to monetize the video on youtube without altering the integrity of the podcast as there is a lot of swearing, sex talk and some nudity on the fullscreen podcast. Tbh, I wouldn't mind if he reduced the swearing and stuff but I think they loved having the freedom to do whatever they wanted. Maybe he could put it behind a paywall like Youtube Red (although for some reason, I get the feeling Youtube the company doesn't particularly like Shane)manged wrote:If Shane and Shanna were still close, I think they could have been an entertaining podcast duo. Especially now that Shane isn't relying as heavily on the racial humor like he used to. Yeah, she was loud too, but it didn't seem as forced as Jessie's over-the-top persona.
But yeah, when I was thinking about continuing the podcast, I meant filming and then monetizing the video. I would hate for him to switch to another subscription service, because I had figured out a way to cheat the system on Fullscreen to watch the podcasts for free. Now my cheap ass would have to figure out a new site. I can imagine him wanting to stick to the subscription format.
They are not friends. She actually has complained many times on the podcast because Shane refuses to see her outside of the podcast and never invites her to social gatherings or to hang out. He tries to insist it's because he wants to maintain a professional work relationship but it's clear with his interactions with her on the podcast that he does not care for her. At this point, I think he only keeps her around to avoid the awkwardness of firing her and the fact that having her as a cohost was a favour to Lisa who he's still friendly with.arf88 wrote:And if it does end up continuing, I don't see him getting rid of Jess. She's his friend, and she did the podcast with him back before Fullscreen took over, so it's not like she only came on recently.
Yesss this! I don't think he hates by any means, but he clearly does not want to hang out outside of the podcast. I can also see Shane not wanting to hang out because she seems to really want to just get high and he always says he's not into it. I don't blame him, I really think she should take a hint and relax.luluguava wrote:They are not friends.
