But my question is why is she no longer affiliated with Ipsy?

Maybe she had to do another one because of some sort of contract obligations? So if she isn't with them anymore, maybe she had to fulfill her contract before she left completely? Or maybe she did just buy it with her own money this time, though I don't see why she would have to.

I'm going to guarantee right now that she didn't happen to buy all five of this month's My Glam products with her own money, whether as the monthly bag or individually. So she received them for free, either by still being affiliated with My Glam or not, but regardless she didn't disclose this.
