I freaking love her music. Her voice is like ear-conditioner. So mellow and lovely. American, Ride, Dark Paradise and Video Games are some of my favorite songs.
I don't think she's anywhere near hideous, although I don't find her absolutely beautiful either. Frankly, I don't have much of an opinion about her face, really. I just think she sings really well. Oh, she totally looks like a young Julia Roberts though.

Love her but to call her "unique" is a lie in my opinion. She's no different than Adele and several others like her.

Her rendition of "Once upon a dream" gives me goosebumps x10. Can't get enough of it.

Only some can truly understand her voice and her lyrics, and when you do, you'll fall in love!

The best way I can describe her voice is like velvet. I've heard a few of her leaked songs like "Black Beauty" it's amazing! All her unreleased songs are amazing as well and some of my favorites like "Hollywood" & "Kill Kill".

What is so frusturation is that the only place she's going to be in Ca is Coachella and I just want to go strictly to her show, and then she's going to be at the Cosmopolitan in Vegas but the ticket prices are all jacked up

Lana Del Rey is one of my favorite singers right now. I pretty much love all of her songs (which is rare for me). I like the lyrics, her style, and I agree her voice is velvety, like rich chocolate. So it's easy to listen to her. She's been a welcome break from a lot of the other teeny-bopper musicians going about. And I think she's really pretty. I adore the 1960s/1950s look she was doing. It's very classy, imo.

Her lyrics and videos are just amazing, and she seems to be quite a shy person, which is a refreshing contrast to all the super bubbly, loud girls strutting their stuff across screens nowadays.

I'm rather disappointed in West Coast. I keep trying but i just can't get into it. I guess because she kept saying Ultraviolence is going to be "so dark" i expected something not so... basic as a lead single. Seems the album date has been changed too.

Gotta agree, sounded so generic for Lana. It sounded mainstream hipster-esque. Hope it's not sign of things to come.

I really liked the slightly more generic sound in West Coast, Idk. Probably because it still had that Lana "edge" to it and mellowness that makes me close my eyes every time I listen to her music ^^ But it could definitely had been even better.

I don't think every new song will be like it. This is the first album following her debut, usually those are filled with gems. Could be wrong, but I'm still looking forward to it just as much.

I love Lana. I will be seeing her live on the 27th in seattle. I loved west coast I don't think it sounds generic or mainstreamy. It sounds like her.
