Skincare routines
Hey guys! I was wondering what you guys use for skincare. I'm pretty happy with mine right now (SpectroJel cleanser for blemish prone skin, EpiDuo some nights, La Roche Posay Toleriane Ultra, Avene Mineral Sunscreen), but I'm super curious about everything that different people use, which is probably why I still watch beauty youtubers.
Re: Skincare routines
cetaphil moisturizer for night time
AVEENO® POSITIVELY RADIANT® Skin Brightening Daily Scrub - as face wash ( though its not something i will be repurchasing )
CLEAN & CLEAR® MORNING BURST® FACIAL CLEANSER - ( use this every so often , its OK, nothing to special, just affordable)
clean and clear dual action face cream for day time ( really like it alot, because its no greasy unlike some other face creams, though does anyone have any other recommendations ? )
and for toner i like the body shop, aloe vera and tea tree (both are really really good )

Re: Skincare routines
You should really read through all of this: http://www.reddit.com/search?q=skincareaddiction
It's a forum on reddit that's composed on skincare experts (not like youtube beauty gurus, but people with a really strong scientific background). If you search through the forum for before&after pictures, the results are amazing.

Re: Skincare routines
Morning:
-splash face with water
-Clinique Toner Step 3
-Clindamycin gel to help with break outs
-Clinique Face Lotion gel
-Clinique Eye Cream or Orgins Ginzing Eye Cream
Night:
-Clinique liquid fash soap
-Clinique Toner Step 3
-EpiDuo (a gift from the gods!!!)
-Clinique face lotion gel
-Clinique eye cream
Occasionally when my skin is really bad with break outs I will take Oracea. It helps with rosacea but also helps with acne/pimples too.

Re: Skincare routines
I rotate my products but the steps stay the same. In the morning...
Spray face with thermal water, usually Avene. Then apply a cream cleanser, right now I really like Aurelia's Miracle Cleanser. I like using milky cleansers in the morning because they're gentle and refreshing, just to clean/wake up the skin from overnight. Take off with a warm flannel. Then I'll put some exfoliating toner like the one by Clarins on a cotton pad and rub that over my skin to prep it for absorbing my serum. I always use my Eve Lom eye cream, and then a serum like the Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Serum and massage that in. Finally, I'll apply moisturizer to hold everything in place and my Shiseido Urban Environment SPF.
At night, I use a balm cleanser to really deep clean everything off (Emma Hardie or Jane Scrivner). Sometimes I'll even double cleanse and use my Clarisonic for a minute as well. Again, take off with warm flannel, tone, and apply eye cream. Instead of a regular serum I'll use a night treatment like the Aurelia Cell Repair Night oil, which is stronger to help repair my skin overnight. Same thing with a night cream to keep my skin hydrated while I sleep.
Whenever I have extra time I'll do a face mask, usually 2-3 a week. I like peels as well but only about once a month because they're pretty harsh on my skin.

Morning:
*Splash face with water
*Vanicream moisturizer
*Neutrogena Clear Face SPF 30
Night:
*Ponds Cold Cream to remove make up
*Philosophy Purity cleanser
*Alternate between Stridex in the red box and Alpha Hydrox AHA Souffle 12%
*Vanicream
Once a week I'll use a face mask like Aztec Secret or Mint Julep by Queen Helene.
I've been doing this routine for two months now and my skin has improved so much! Less breakouts and my old acne scars are fading, yay!

Re: Skincare routines
I use Simple Clear Skin Oil Balancing Face wash, Simple Purifying Cleansing Lotion, Simple Soothing Toner and Epaderm cream. (I was having problems with dry patches which seem to have cleared up now, but figured I would finish the huge bottle) I do the same morning and night, and use a bentonite clay face mask once a week.
Re: Skincare routines
Every morning and night I wash my face with Neutrogena gentle cleanser then I tone with Neutrogena alcohol free toner. If it's morning I'll apply Olays complete all day moisture cream and at night I apply the complete night fortifying cream. I try to exfoliate 1-2 times a week.

Re: Skincare routines
I have a rigorous morning beauty routine. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser and an exfoliating almond scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial mask. Finally, I use a sunblock to block out the UV rays because the sun wrinkles your face like a prune and makes you look older.

Re: Skincare routines
Shea Moisture's African Black Soap bar, OR Dove plain white Beauty Bar on my face morning and night, then witch hazel, then St. Ives collagen elastin moisturizer currently, usually day and night, sometimes using a thicker one at night. Then a moisturizing face mask maybe once a week.
