One entire side of my family is Canadian, so I'm pretty sure I know what a Canadian accent sounds like. The way she talks really bothers me, it's like she's trying to sound all sweet and girly or something. It has nothing to do with her accent, lol.

She usually does trends which is also unoriginal ex: Braided nails, galaxy nails, tribal nails, or just designs that have been done millions of times.

A lot of you might think, oh it's a coincidence and yes sometimes it is... but the fact that she posted the video usually only a little bit after seems really suspicious.

I used to like Cutepolish until I noticed she copies others. Plus, has anyone realized that she has given up on her nail designs? They're so lame and consist of stupid little lines. They're boring!

Agreed. Before I knew about the other nail art tutorials out there, I thought her designs were so amazing/creative/etc but now I realize that most, if not all, of the designs she posts are copies. I would understand if there were just similarities but on another thread someone posted comparison shots of hers and other's nail art tutorials and they were nearly identical

I love how her tutorials are short and easy to follow. Also, she has noted that she speaks the way she does because many of her viewers have English as their foreign language. She really got me into nail art!

I used to think cutepolish was okay, until she did start blatantly copying lesser-known people. Especially in her Water Spotted nail tutorial she had to say that she came up with the technique. Even mentioning it in the description...

She doesn't seem like the kind of person who creates techniques for nail art. It just rubs me the wrong way.

Ugh. I just unsubscribed.

Like a lot of you, I used to like her tutorials until I found out that she blatantly copies a lot of people without giving any credit.

In her latest video Stone Marble Nails there are lots of comments saying she copied MissJenFabulous, I don't watch her so I didn't know but I went to her channel and lo and behold there it was, a tutorial exactly like Cutepolish but with different colors and it was done a week ago:





I know that MissJenFabulous is a well known YouTuber and that she even might have taken the idea from somewhere else BUT the point of all this is that if it's NOT your original design, give the credit for the inspiration!!! It's not so hard! Cutepolish has done it before so, why can't she just keep on doing it?:



Oh and she has the comments set so as one can't give them "thumbs up", of course, because she doesn't want any of the comments saying she copied from MissJenFabulous to get to a top comment for everyone to see... SHADY!!!



She has over 1,000,000 subs and she's earning money from what she does and getting deals with big companies like Disney. It would piss me off to see one of my original designs on her channel and know that she's making money off of it and getting such big deals.

Like I've said before, I know EVERYONE copies lots of things everyday but that doesn't give one the right to not disclose where the inspiration was from. I always tell my girlfriends about where I got the idea for the makeup I'm wearing or the nail art I have done and I have even written down the YouTube channels for them to check out and I don't even get ANY COMPENSATION FOR IT! It's just the right thing to do.

Well, she looks exactly like i pictured her to. Nice to know.

I don't mind her videos, but they haven't been that great lately. I'm sure she does copy some people but i feel every single original nail art design you could think of has already been done now. Well, ones that are 'easy' to do anyway.

I'm really glad she's started showing herself in videos now, I feel like they can be more relatable now instead of just someone's hands and voice lol. I also like how she's from the same province as me. As for her voice, that's the Newfie accent kicking in haha, it's just how everyone talks here
