Revamping your hair? What has worked?

Post by sairaintheskies »

I was wondering if anyone has gone on a journey to restart fresh with your hair. Several months ago I have and I have to say I am glad I did. I cut my hair short, stopped dying it, stopped using heat excessively, and using harsh chemicals. Now my hair feels thicker and is growing in nicely. So, if you have done this before any tips that worked for you?

I have been using Burt's Bees shampoos and oiling my hair. Every now and then I will use Casia Henna.

1)I would cut out heat completely. Even using it once a week, for me at least, makes a difference in how healthy my hair feels and looks
2) washing your hair only 2-3 times a week.
3) healthy diet should help it grow faster too!

Those are my top 3, hope that helps

I agree with Eazy. There are also vitamins you can take to help. Deep conditioning once per week helps with breakage.
