Dracula (2013 TV series)

Does anyone watch this show? I've only seen one episode but I want to watch more. I came upon it when I was in the living room and the TV was just on and I heard the soundtrack and I just had to watch because of it. The music score to this show is insanely good (imo) but it's impossible to find anywhere ;___; The whole show is pretty much eye candy as well. I can't comment too much on the plot just yet.

I watched the first episode because I like JRM. But there were several other new shows I was also interested in when it first came out and I really didn't like the first episode, so idk if i'll go back and catch up on it or not.

I'm worried it won't get renewed! I liked the first episode a lot, then sort of lost interest for a bit and stopped watching (had them recorded on DVR), but then started watching them again. I loved the last episode and will be a bit sad if it doesn't get renewed.

I will honestly watch just about anything that has Jonathan Rhys Meyers in it. I don't think any show of his is ever going to live up to Tudors, but Dracula wasn't bad. I just hate his American accent...I wish they'd just let him keep his regular accent, or at the very least let him do English. His American accent is cringeworthy.

I'm sad it was canceled because I did think the show itself was interesting. But JRM has some pretty big personal demons to overcome, or so I've read. Weren't producers at one point withholding his pay to assure that he didn't go out binge drinking and doing drugs instead of coming to work? I don't think you can center a show around an actor when he's struggling that badly. Although he's supposedly currently filming a movie...so maybe I'm wrong about his relapse and Dracula just didn't get ratings

I loooooove Meyers and he was awesome at Tudors. I really wanted to watch this show but didn't have time

Darn. I enjoyed the first (and only) season. JRM was particularly good. That is the problem with network tv..shows get cancelled after just one season with barely a chance to build an audience or any momentum.

So, I guess Constantine will take its place then? I like the movie, hope the series holds up. The actress who played Nora in True Blood (Eric's sister) stars in it--Lucy Griffiths.
