Ooh, interesting that the person called Vic out for using engagement pods.

Also, £150 for car hire for a day?! Talk about being ripped off. Car hire at Marseille starts at about £25 a day... oh but of course she’d need a luxe vehicle wouldn’t she *rolls eyes*

I didn’t realize just how many clothes are gifted or loaned. For special trips occasions, sure. But I’m starting to think everything Victoria and the like wears is a gift. Like, do they buy underwear at least? It’s mind boggling.

Why is anyone surprised? Victoria was already quite open about brands sending her things and paying for trips. In pretty much every single one of her videos she showcased something that was "kindly gifted" and she released a list of 36 trips of 2018 and the brand that payed for each one. Why would anyone think differently?
Re: Inthefrow but not @thealtar - blingless, forever busy blogge
Because she pretended that some clothes or shoes were kindly gifted, but now she confessed that almost all her clothes and shoes were gifts. I should’ve know, but I was still somewhat surprised.tsoumpakoi wrote: ↑Sun Feb 10, 2019 10:30 amWhy is anyone surprised? I figured being a “lover or fashion” she at least bought SOME clothes. Apparently not.Iris1969 wrote:Because she pretended that some clothes or shoes were kindly gifted, but now she confessed that almost all her clothes and shoes were gifts. The new fashion rules? Don’t wear it unless it’s free or comes with a paycheck, basically.

What really got me was the sneaky way she and others utilized gift vouchers from sites and stores (i.e. Selfridges, Luisaviaroma, etc), and then presented the clothes in a haul under the pretext that they were purchased with their own money. I, like you, knew they got free things, but for sure not the full extent of how deceptively those items were portrayed in the videos. I can see why many influencers aren't happy with these new rules...it's a turn off to see how much of their closets are free.Iris1969 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 10, 2019 10:57 amBecause she pretended that some clothes or shoes were kindly gifted, but now she confessed that almost all her clothes and shoes were gifts. peasoup wrote: ↑Sat Feb 09, 2019 3:17 amThere's so much emphasis on spending her own money in that post, she has clearly gotten used to having EVERYTHING + MORE sponsored that it pains her to spend her own, even if it's a few hundred pounds. The greed for money is a little bit tacky. And so what you found out that the venue is shit BEFORE the wedding?! Isn't that part of planning?! I'd have more sympathy if she found out on the day so yeah, these things happen, deal with it?! What a bimbo.eastsidebabe wrote: ↑Sat Feb 09, 2019 2:49 amHere is a quote from her blog re the castle in Provence:
"We got up at 4am, I spent maybe £600 of my own cash (after using £300 worth of avios points), and me, Alex and Annabel (my wedding planner) went on over to Marseilles to visit this venue in Provence.
We get the 7am flight, rent a £150 car over to the place, drive for 1hr 20 excited to see it, and as we walk up to the big gorgeous 16th century chateau, what do we see?"
So if it hadn't had the concrete block spa, she might have rented the venue and expect her guests to spend this kind of money for a two or three day weekend, never mind the carbon footprint they would have created?
This comment !!!! Greedy, Greedy, Greedy her true sentiment/character came out in this video. You went to France and spent some of your own money to look at a venue - so what! Last I heard she is a millionaire. If she doesn’t want to spend money why go to France to get married. Are there are no beautiful venues in England??? The wedding is more for show and Instagram likes and pulling rank on every other blogger who has gotten married.

In a way I feel sorry for her.
She’s so obsessed with being instagramable perfect and portraying this false life that she never seems relaxed or able to let her hair down.
She’s that uptight, I bet if you stuck a piece of coal up her ass within minutes you’d have a diamond.

But yeah I totally agree. Sometimes I feel jealous seeing everything they have and how easy money and nice things come to them. But really I wouldn't trade with them. They clearly feel pressure to keep up and never seem to enjoy what they have, its always about what they will get next. Even her wedding, I doubt she will even enjoy it properly. I can't imagine her letting her hair down and having fun, it'll all be about checking everything looks good for instagram. I'd have so much more respect for her if she had a private wedding so she could enjoy it with her friends and family but as if she would ever pass up all the free stuff she will get thrown at her. At least she will have to disclose everything she gets for free for her wedding with these new rules which I'm sure she's fuming about.

I can’t believe that even her hair coloring is gifted, as she wrote on her BAFTA insta caption. Does she pay for ANYTHING?

Re: Inthefrow but not @thealtar - blingless, forever busy blogge
the thing about disclosing gifts just hits even harder because in hindsight vic has been SO dishonest. she’d always say things like “I picked this up” or “I’ve been debating buying this for a while now” and stuff like that, meanwhile she never actually did any buying. Way more of her clothes and bags were gifted than I originally thought. I don’t know how she could ethically pretend to be buying all this stuff and then telling her viewers to go out and spend $1000s when meanwhile she wasn’t. She is so greedy.

Exactly! Asking “babe” and “lovely” to use her affiliate link to drop thousands of dollars on something she got for free. Meanwhile, she gripes on and on about having to spend a dime for travel to an out-or-town venue or her choosing.
What a spoiled materialistic brat, honestly.
And did you see her new post on house hunting? This girl is seriously out of touch with the real world:

Is anyone else just really bored of all the suits she wears. They're all variations of the same and most of the time I don't even think they suit (no pun intended) her, especially those pink ones

Re: Inthefrow but not @thealtar - blingless, forever busy blogge
TBH ever since the engagement, I am really bored of her, not just the suits. Especially now when the new rules are in place- it is more clear to me than ever that these people are glorified salesmen. Because of free nails, hair, clothes, furniture, groceries/soaps/make up, probably some gym memberships along the way, I do not believe in any review she does. The fact that she cries about spending £600 of HER OWN MONEY just goes to show how little they actually have to spend- what's that compared to the sustainable bs haul that was completely gifed? I cannot wait for this weird trend of these nobodies getting literally and I mean LITERALLY everything for free to end- it will be rude awakening when Vikky finds out that all the shit she gets will have to be bought with the money from her pocket.
Re: Inthefrow but not @thealtar - blingless, forever busy blogge
What the heck does Alex see in her?? They seem to have nothing in common. He surely cannot be as shallow and materialistic as her, can he?
Re: Inthefrow but not @thealtar - blingless, forever busy blogge
I think he’s enjoying the good life at the moment (travelling, lots of expensive free stuff and doing a bit of photography to keep him entertained) and he knows only Victoria can give him access to this easy lifestyle.

How many men do you know who don't have to spend a penny for their own big fancy wedding? I can only think of Princes Wills & Harry...

He is obviously from not a very wealthy background so I guess for him this all is still very exciting
