She's losing so much followers on Instagram, about a 100 a month. Why isn't she trying to mix it up, is this not her job? How much can she be making a month?

Leanne is on Instagram spreading false information to her followers about the vegan burger in Burger King. You’d think for someone so invested in the vegan lifestyle and dedicated to guilting others into also going vegan she would educate herself properly before accusing BK of grilling the vegan patties on the same grills as the meat one. A quick google will tell you that Europe has strict food laws to prevent cross contamination and it’s only the states that they do that with he vegan patties. She’s so incredibly misinformed.

So funny seeing her pretending to be sustainable and talking about that while being paid by fast fashion brands like Penney's. Then going on a big rant about how only priviliged people can be sustainable hahahaa whilst being priviliged and being paid by Penney's. Honestly being more sustainable means buying less. Anyone can afford to buy less things... Get out of the fast fashion mindset. That's the point. Nobody's gonna be too bothered if a mam needs to buy their school uniforms for their kids in Penney's that's a different story. But pushing trends and the fast fashion business model like Leanne is... That's a big part of the problem ! And profiting from these companies.. being paid by them or attending their events / promoting them. She is part of the cycle.

So her theory doesn't wash anyway.

Really agree with you here.

Sustainability can have many different faces and for some people sustainability looks like buying replacement items from cheaper places that might not focus so much on sustainability when your clothes are really worn out.

But with the fast fashion mindset a lot of people, mainly these fashion bloggers and instagrammers, think that they need to buy new items every season and micro season and that they NEED to be from these expensive supposedly sustainable places and then obviously they can't afford to do that every month so resort back to trend buying from fast fashion places and complain about the privilege required to live sustainably.

A lot of people living the most sustainable existence are dirt poor and live within their means. They don't buy excessively. They don't consume excessively because they can't necessarily afford to and as a result they are less of a drain on the planet's resources.

She's lost another thousand followers or so since I last looked at her IG account. I'm not surprised though, it's a boring account to look at, just mostly the up close selfies of the same make up, same pose, same bland background. For someone who considers what she's doing as "creating content" she could at least put the effort in and swap out her tops so that she's not just posting the same photo back to back. This is meant to be your job girl, pull it together!

It's not the lockdown either, her account has been like this for a good while. I thought she was turning it around at the start of the year when she was making those new year resolution posts, at least they were something different to look at. I wish she would just look at her page critically and realise where she's going wrong. In a weird way I want to root for her, but her laziness really annoys me. If she made her page visually appealing she wouldn't have to go on her stories and beg for people to give her a shout out on theirs.

She should delete Jem's instagram and just post those photos to her own and that would help break up the monotony of her account. She needs to break up her posts as well, not have the same selfie back to back. She could be making posts about what she's doing for self care or how she's keeping herself busy at the moment. Also she said she was going back to Youtube a while ago, what happened to that? If you're going to say you'll do something, stick to your word.

Don't mean to bring up an old thread but anyone know what Leanne is doing atm? I saw on one of her recent posts that she quit being an influencer which I'm guessing thats why she doesn't seem to be posting as much. I'm happy for her that she got to take a break from social media as well because anyone's mental health will improve once they do that (speaking from experience)
