i like her hair a lot, long and thick, she doesnt take care of it a lot but the hair still looks good, once in a while if she brushes it

Re: Grav3yardgirl Part 15 - Hoardqu33n
I know a couple people that bought it and hate it. I was playing around with it and all the shades are super powdery, so the glittery ones just kind of fall all over the place throughout the day and you get glitter all over your cheeks lolvenushalley wrote:I have seen some people mention this pallette on their "anti-haul" videos, saying they are not getting it because they got these colors already in other pallettes.

Re: Grav3yardgirl Part 15 - Hoardqu33n
I played around with the palette and it has exactly two good points 1) the highlighter is pretty nice, not great but good enough. 2) Care..Err Dogman that's the only color I saw in it that isn't something I have a ton of already and if it was a single I'd probably get it, or if I knew a dupe even more likely.
otherwise its boring and way too glittery for anyone to use on a regular basis and not look like a mardi gras float gone wrong.
I will never get why she did a tarte collab and not someone more "edgy" why there wasn't a olive or neutral green, why the bronzer is in no fashion a color that would work for her skin tone or almost anyone else's its soooo orange..

Re: Grav3yardgirl Part 15 - Hoardqu33n
yeah i feel like her palette was kind of a flop. i excpected it to sell out much faster. i guess that's what happens when most of your fans are kids with no money of their own...
and idk, i don't really like the name of it at all. i get that it's her thing and 'the swamp family' and so on but it sounds so gross. like if you didn't watch her channel and just walked into sephora and saw something with the word 'swamp' in the title.. ew. and i'm suprised she didn't do more tutorials with it. actually i don't think she did ANY at all because i can't find any on her channel. probably because her makeup skills are terrible. that j-star palette vid she did was laughable.

Re: Grav3yardgirl Part 15 - Hoardqu33n
So another video trying to sell this damn palette. Now it's $30 on sale for Cyber Monday.
She couldn't go to the renaissance fair because they were up all night "icing her knee." First of all, how does your knee start hurting for no reason to the point where you're up all night with it? Secondly, "we." WE. She made her boyfriend stay up with her because she had a sore knee? Fuck off! I wonder how much work this poor guy misses because there's some imaginary ailment going on with her.
She's thinking about a second channel? She can't even keep up with this one! But the comments are overwhelmingly against it. I mean, you already have almost 8 million subscribers. Let's not be greedy and try getting money off of 2 damn channels. There's nothing even on that other channel yet and she's already got 12k subscribers. I can't stand when youtubers do this.

Re: Grav3yardgirl Part 15 - Hoardqu33n
So, genuine question: is her palette bad? Like quality wise? Or are the colors just super typical colors?
I'm asking because my little sister (who's only 12 and loves Bunny's videos) wants to buy Bunny's palette, but if it's a bad quality palette I'd like to know so I can tell my sister and keep her from wasting her money on it.

Re: Grav3yardgirl Part 15 - Hoardqu33n
This is the first time I comment on Bunny, but ever since I saw her first, the biggest problem I had with her was not her teeth, but her relationship with Dogman. Why? Because I simply cannot stand how she acts when he is around, I can sense a slight obsession for that man and it's so cringeworthy!
I mean I can actually see the little hearts coming from her eyes when she looks at him, and he is always so, like, off..? I really cannot watch a video of hers when he is around as well, it makes me sick in the stomach, and mind you I am a pretty romantic girl But she is SO SO different when she is alone, unlike any other beauty guru I have seen. I imagine them in the sack whenever she is so mushy around him, and trust me, it's a very unpleasant thing to envision

Re: Grav3yardgirl Part 15 - Hoardqu33n
That's what I figure, but she always talks about "Dogman had to work," or "he's at work right now." I imagine it's only a matter of time before she begs him to stay home all the time with her. Not like she can't afford to support them both. At least then maybe the house would be cleaner?smarlo wrote:LiddlePallid wrote:So another video trying to sell this damn palette. and megdiane12 - yeah, I would say the quality isn't that great. It's definitely not on par with how Tarte shadows usually are, in my opinion. They're very powdery and fallout-y and more work to get them to look how you want them to than it's worth.

I thought I would weigh in. The palette is fairly cheap today. Your sister is 12 and a fan of Bunny. If it's something she really wants, as a fan, I would say today is the day to get it. Likely, she likes makeup. She'll have a long learning curve to get good at it. This palette isn't the best, but it's definitely not the worst. She burn through it practicing, and then she'll have the ability to appreciate a better quality eyeshadow as she gets older.megdiane12 wrote:So, genuine question: is her palette bad? Disclaimer: I am not a huge fan of Bunny, but I am a huge fan of letting kids be kids (poor decisions and all... though +1 for getting a deal on it). Cheers!

Seconding this For a pre teen this palette would be perfect especially on sale, most of the issue I have with it is the amount of glitter it contains which just isn't very pretty on a girl in her mid 30's but someone that's a teenager would probably enjoy it, I certainly liked glittery when I was younger.MissJamieD wrote:I thought I would weigh in. They are also decent enough quality shadows but a good stepping point to learn about higher end and better formulated brands that don't have as much fall out, blend better have better pigment etc.
The colors are mostly neutrals browns golds nudes but with a couple of pops of color Dogman is a burnt orange color that's really pretty imho and mancat is a purple. in my opinion its best for someone just learning makeup to take smalls steps into color so it doesn't look like the circus is in town.
All in all I'd say go for it, its just much much too glittery for me, at my age to pull off, But a good starter palette and nice because you get a bit of everything. Just maybe avoid the bronzer, its the biggest dud in the palette because its a color only trump can pull off ( ie reeeaaaaaaaaally orange)

Wanted to add that Ulta ( if you live where they ship which I think is US and Canada) has the Vice XX palette for under 35 bucks and has a good blend of color and neutrals, Urban Decay is kind of my favorite brand so I may be ever so slightly biased but I think UD has better quality than bunny's palette. it also has more mattes. I thought I'd mention this in case you wanted to steer her towards another palette in the same price range.

I haven't heard her mention anything about him working in a long time. Mostly she's talking about how he goes with her to Walmart in the middle of the night or they just take off for FL or Austin on a whim.
He's totally a kept man.

So she was able to go Black friday shopping despite her anxiety? It seems something that would be anxiety inducing even for normal people... but I guess when she gets hand on a hoard, anxiety takes the backseat.

Re: Grav3yardgirl Part 15 - Hoardqu33n
No joke. I have anxiety (mostly situational, at its worst when driving in bad weather), I take medicine for anxiety, and (subjectively) mine is far better than her reports of her own anxiety. I mean, she had to go to a HOTEL for a hair dye job... I just don't believe she could handle the EXCESSIVE shopping crowds. They kick my anxiety into full effect, with sweating, dizziness, and confusion topping my list of why I stay home.venushalley wrote:So she was able to go Black friday shopping despite her anxiety? I thought Guy Tang dyed Bunny's hair in a hotel room because they were in Austin for her Tarte party, no? Austin isn't even remotely near where she lives, so the hotel room made sense to me.

I figured it was because of her Tarte party too, but but the last time he did her hair they were in a hotel room as well.
