This was the plastic-surgery addict on Oprah. You can just tell that she did her lips, nose and cheeks at the very least. she looked much better with the oval/heart shaped face, like in that viral pic of her with the red lipstick & hand behind her head (the one lauren curtis royally failed at imitating ) & yes I get exactly what you mean! Like my mum's friends all have a strange smooth stretched waxy looking complexion and the irregular lip bumps, but the thing is you don't realize exactly what it is that makes their faces look so odd (eg lip bumps and stretched skin) but you just KNOW they've had work done from far & up close! I agree so much. I don't even have IG because of that reason and will be deleting facebook soon, not just because I hate the 'keeping up with the Joneses' (or rather keeping up with the Kardashians hahaah, fakery to the max!) but also how fake everything is. I see girls i know irl and they look normal, then online they look like VS super models. Erm what? I get trying to make yourself look better but try to do it irl then as well I'm just so fed up with the portrayal of perfection which is never true, and the way it affects girls. Advertisement and photoshop is bad enough, but you expect super models to be 'super' for a reason (even if that, again, isn't true). But the way it messes with girls minds.. Thinking they're not good enough, leading to low self esteem which makes them do stupid stuff like lower their self worth in all areas. I wish there was more emphasis on trying to be a better person inside AND out, although what's on the inside is really what matters most. Might sound cliche but it's true. Sure, we like looking at good-looking people, but would we want to be with them and hang out with them when they're stupid, or mean, or childish or something else? I really don't care what my friends look like, as long as they're not bitchy to me or bad people in general. And if they do do something immoral I'll tell them I disagree. I expect them to do the same for me and try to make me a better person too! enjoy
