So they're officially engaged. AND actually building the treehouse they've talked about for all these years. Thoughts? Anyone care?

The actual proposal was quite nice. But, of course, Louis did it in his half-assed, last-minute way. The ring wasn't ready, so he had to involve someone else to get a stand-in ring. He's still the same inconsiderate guy, who is constantly late, speeds in traffic, makes other passengers wait, and so on. I'm not sure about the tree house. I love indoor showers and bug-free zones. I also find their lifestyle too elitist in the sense that most people couldn't live that way. They are using up much more than their share of resources by flying so much and living the way they do. They still consume way too much to align to the values they keep preaching. And they travel despite the pandemic! They recently went on a sponsored trip to Dubai, known for ongoing slave labor and human rights violations, without batting an eye. To me, they are scum.

I'm honestly surprised that Louis and Raya are even still together at this point, it seems more for convenience rather than love. I wish them the best nonetheless. Do you guys think they'll have kids?

That was so annoying, he literally had years to prepare lol! The store also had to open earlier for them.

Can't believe they've been dating for 6.5 years already. Time flies! They seem more like best friends though, I personally don't see a super romantic attraction between them, but wish them the best as well. I think they want to have kids (probably Raya more so than Louis); after the proposal Raya said they'll be a great mom and dad.

One of the reasons they're getting married is probably for Louis to have a permanent US resident status.

I just watched a video of them on their road trip with the school bus. It seems like Louis would love to be with a group again while Raya doesn't mind being mainly with Louis only. Her ring looks really out of place on her. It's weird how many women go for a showy, traditional ring when their personal style is nothing like that. Raya would suit a thick, silver ring more.

The whole relationship has been strange to me.. Raya just does not seem to be the type who would be interested in a guy like Louis.

They seem to post mainly on their couple channel now. Does anyone watch them? They must get along really well if they manage to travel in a bus / van together for so long without any hick-ups. But they still look as awkward and mismatched as ever.

Ah I thought I was the only one who thought that they just don't seem like a likely match! but looking through I see a lot of people feeling that way. I really do hope they are good partners to each other, it's just funny how they just don't seem like they'd work based on public image. I don't watch their content anymore, just not my thing, but wondered if they were still together so I got nosy and checked lol.

The parents’ reactions were kind of weird. Maybe they discussed having kids with the parents before and the parents did not think it was time in terms of Louis and Raya’s living situation or financial situation?
